The Sayville Public School District is very happy to offer both a Student and Parent Portal via our student management system, Infinite Campus. Students gain access to the student portal when they begin attending the High School. Parents can register for the Parent Portal at anytime, by filling out the forms located under "Portal Documents" on the left side of this page and bringing those forms to the school office of the building their child is attending. Please be prepared to show a photo id. The office staff will then forward the forms accordingly and parents will be informed via email on additional instructions to set up the account.
Both portals are special tools. Students can take owership of their learning and school progress. Parents are enabled to monitor and assist with the progress of their students. These tools help to strengthen our home-to-school communication and connection. Parents are able to view different areas of information concerning their children. Areas include: attendance, class schedule, report cards, immunization records, assessment results, and demographic information.
In order to view reports from the portal, you will need to download a free copy of Adobe Reader to your computer. You can retrieve a free download from the following web address: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Attendance: Attendance data is put into Infinite Campus on a real-time basis. Parents trying to access attendance information during the school day need to be aware that in some cases, attendance may not be reconciled with students' activities (i.e. guidance appointments, music lessons, early dismissals, ect) until the next school day.
Missing Assignments: Missing assigments are only viewable at the secondary level.
